This is a superb example of Eastlake Aesthetic design from the 1870s. This Gas Chandelier once graced a Large Dining room in an Eastlake Victorian house. Best for a large room 300 to 400 square feet. The very unusual set of 12- 10 inch Spear Prisms on the very bottom really stands out as an unusual design. These prisms were all hand cut on a copper wheel and upon close inspection show the slight individual differences from handiwork.

The characteristic Eastlake Flat Castings and Ribbon Work on this fixture are truly rare and existed during a short time period in the United States between 1860 and 1880. The Eastlake Aesthetic Transfer Etched Shades Top it off with Floral Pattern Mixed with a geometric pattern reminiscent of the 1880 Aesthetic Movement. It has its original Rose Brass patina so hard to find in good condition and not refinished.
