Excellent large example of Eastlake detailing from the 1860-1870s.
Removed from a Townhouse on Union Park in the South End of Boston this
large 4-light Eastlake Chandelier is probably Cornelius and Sons.
Wonderful original gold patina and Gargoyle etched shades makes an impressive
statement for your large Dining room, Living room or Foyer. Characteristic
Eastlake detailing of braces, flat sheet and somewhat
geometric design is a reaction to the Victorian ornamentation of the Revival periods.
