( sockets are for small bulbs (7.5 watt) to illuminate small amber dots on the perimeter of the White Wavy Panel Dome). There are three more sockets that will illuminate this dome. Theses can be bigger higher wattage bulbs. Very nice Art Nouveau detail with Egg and Dart border separating two halves of the Hour Glass shaped receptacle.
