This is an Aesthetic Eastlake Beveled Glass
Lantern that was originally powered by gas and
is now electrified. The beveled glass is composed
of 16 individual Beveled Glass panes in a Cast
Brass Lantern box. This Hall Box is mostly Cast
Brass except for the square, rectangular and
round tubing. Cast scrolls and flat ornaments
typical of Eastlake design adorn this Lantern.
The construction is quite unusual with the 16 panes.
You can use 4-60 watt bulbs and it is wired for outside.
It would make an excellent Exterior Lantern on a period
house.
