Very period East lake Gas Lantern with Opaline Glass.
The understated hand painted flower pattern on the
top shade has colors that match the rose brass patina
of the metal. There is East lake cut out fretwork on
the top of the Harp above the smoke bell. Cut out
fretwork is also on the bottom shade cover that holds
the shade in place from underneath. This came out of
an 1870 period Townhouse in South Boston, MA.
