Usually flush chandeliers are pretty boring because you can't do much in the depth that defines a flush fixture(12 inches). This type of Electric chandelier from 1905 is one of the exceptions. There is quite a bit going on in the 9 and 3/4 drop that this chandelier hangs in. 5 really beautiful and blown double etched shades work very well with the 18 inch medallion canopy. The arms have applied castings in acanthus style. They are very beautiful with Serpentine twists. Wired with Teflon Wire and porcelain sockets this fixture will do a great job lighting up that room with the low ceiling.
