Incredibly pleasing simple Opaline Slag Glass Inverted Dome
with Amber Slag Glass Wave pattern. This rolling Wave pattern
was very popular in the Neo-classical period. Here it is brought
back in the form of Leaded Glass to decorate this Bowl in the Arts and Crafts
period. Represented with much simpler detail, it stands out to be the dominant
detail in a much more minimal representation than you would see in c.1840.
In the Neo-classical representation you would see it mixed with a lot of other
details beside it.
Very clean lines on this Dome makes it a very resilient fixture where it could be
used in many rooms. 4 porcelain sockets adds to its versatility.
It would also be able to be used with many other fixtures of this period that we
have on our site even in the same room.
