Egyptian Revival detailing was something
you see in the Art Deco period and also in earlier
periods that use classical design qualities. This lamp
uses columns with capitals that are reminiscent of
something you would see around the Pyramids. The glass
rods are an interesting Deco interpretation of the
classical design. We have included a used modern shade
in the photo to show how the lamp would look shaded.
You should probably have your own shade mounted.
