Fellows Hoffman was the next generation of Starr Fellows and Co. These were the first American Companies in the US selling Gas Chandeliers.
With the exception of a spinning, this Chandelier is almost completely cast brass with a Matte Gold finish.
Zero in on the Rams Heads with the Garlands hanging out of the mouths. Stellar detail.
The 2 and 5/8 fitter shades are clear blown glass with a bisque like finish. A whitish Grey color. They are signed with the initials G on top of H. The Canopy is quite ornate.
Great fixture for Boston's South end refinement. A cultured elegance that belongs in an asking environment.
