This simple Neo-classical style Inverted Dome came out
of a Dining room of a Townhouse on Marlborough Street
in Boston's Back Bay. The room had very high ceilings.
Notice the wave pattern along the border close to the top
of the bowl. Although simple in design it would pick up
similar details in a room designed around it.
18 and 1/2 inches diameter, it is a large bowl that
can be big enough for many Dining rooms. It would make
a wonderful Foyer fixture and could be a light in any
large room. With three porcelain sockets, you can use
three 75 watt bulbs. The translucent Cast glass will
provide plenty of light.
